To-scale floor plan: Ceremony — Rotunda Gallery at The Atheneum — 128 chairs, Four rings, centre altar
Drawing sheet exported from EventDiagram — border, graphic scale, schedule of quantities and title block, exactly as a customer’s client receives it.

Why it is laid out this way

  • Four concentric rings, every chair turned to face the centre: a circular room does not want rows, and a grid in here wastes a third of the floor.
  • Four 20° aisles run out to the four doors on the cardinals — the wedding party enters from all four sides at once, which is a thing this room can do.
  • Everything stays inside the 26′ column ring, so nobody's sightline crosses a column.
