A Cvent Event Diagramming alternative with monthly pricing

Cvent Event Diagramming is what Social Tables became — and, through 2026, what Prismm users are being moved into. It’s a capable product attached to a very large suite. EventDiagram is for teams that need the diagram without the suite: to-scale plans, one-click 3D, free collaborators, and billing that doesn’t need a procurement department.

One product, several names

If you knew it as Social Tables, you already know this product

Cvent acquired Social Tables in 2018 and renamed it Cvent Event Diagramming. In April 2025 Cvent also acquired Prismm (formerly AllSeated) and is consolidating its users into the same product through June 2027. Every search for “Social Tables,” “AllSeated,” “Prismm,” or “Cvent Event Diagramming” now lands on one tool: the diagramming module of the Cvent suite, with paid public plans of $49–$320/month on a 12-month commitment.

The lineage

Social Tables → Cvent Event Diagramming

Same product, new name, deeper suite integration. The full feature-by-feature and price-by-price comparison lives on our Social Tables alternative page.

The sunset

AllSeated → Prismm → migrated in

Prismm stopped taking new events on August 26, 2026 and access ends June 2027. What migrates, what doesn’t, and the export checklist are on the Prismm migration guide.

The independent path

EventDiagram

Deliberately focused: floor plan in, approved layout out. Monthly billing on every plan, unlimited free collaborators, no attendee caps, and open exports guaranteed in writing.

Where Cvent genuinely wins: platform breadth. Registration, sourcing, attendee management, and the venue marketplace are real strengths if your organization needs the whole stack — we won’t pretend otherwise. Where EventDiagram wins: the diagram itself. Faster onboarding, collaborators who never buy a seat, published pricing, and a bill you can cancel monthly.

See what that focus looks like in practice for hotels & event venues on the property side, and for corporate event planners on the planning side.

FAQ

Cvent Event Diagramming — common questions

Is Cvent Event Diagramming the same as Social Tables?

Yes — Cvent acquired Social Tables in 2018 and renamed it Cvent Event Diagramming. In April 2025 Cvent also acquired Prismm (formerly AllSeated) and is consolidating its users into the same product through June 2027.

Why would I choose an alternative instead of the market leader?

If you need Cvent’s full event stack, choose Cvent — the breadth is real. Choose an alternative when the job is the diagram itself and the suite is overhead: you want faster onboarding, a whole team with their own logins instead of one licensed account plus invited collaborators, monthly billing instead of a 12-month commitment, and pricing you can read without a sales call.

We’re being moved from Prismm into Cvent Event Diagramming. Do we have another option?

Yes. Your plans are exportable, and rebuilding is the cost you’re paying either way — Cvent’s own materials note that Prismm templates, favorites, and object groups don’t carry over automatically. EventDiagram will convert your standard room plans as part of onboarding, with a 60-day parallel-use window.

Does EventDiagram integrate with the venue systems we already use?

Open exports (PDF, image, data) work with everything today; API and webhook access is agreed as part of a Large Venue plan. Our posture is integration over replacement — keep your sales-and-catering system, use EventDiagram for the spatial workflow.
