Comedy Night — The Taproom
40 at cabaret rounds on 9′ centres — stand-up wants the room tight, not comfortable.
The Ironworks · The Taproom · 62′ × 40′, 14′ ceiling

Why it is laid out this way
- Tables at 9′ centres and a front row 8′ off the deck: laughter is contagious at four feet and dies at twelve, so a comedy room is drawn tighter than a banquet.
- The stage takes the south wall — the only run long enough once the venue's 40′ tap bar is left to do its own job.
- Both columns fall between the table rows rather than in anybody's sightline to the mic.
