Executive Retreat — Estate Boardroom
15 in a U opened at the bay, because a U-shape has to point at something.
Marisol Estate · Estate Boardroom · 42′ × 26′, 12′ ceiling

Why it is laid out this way
- The open end faces the bay in the east wall, so the screen stands somewhere that is neither in front of a window nor across the side door.
- The base of the U sits 6′ 6″ off the west wall to clear the fireplace — which is also the distance the chairs behind it need to push back.
- Chairs on the outside faces only, which is what a U-shape is; the inside stays clear for cabling and for the chair's own papers.
