Lesson 19 of 21 · 1:28
Two people in one diagram
What happens when you are both editing — and why nothing is lost.
Written guides for this lesson
- Can two people work on the same floor plan at the same time?
Yes. Everyone with the diagram open appears in the top bar, changes arrive on their own, and when two of you have both been editing the two sets of changes are merged rather than one overwriting the other.

0:03This is the question every venue asks first: what happens when two of us are in the same drawing at the same time?
0:09Let's find out properly. Priya is opening this same plan on her own computer, right now. Watch the top right.
0:36There she is. Everyone with the diagram open shows up here, whether they came in from the app or from a share link.
0:43Meanwhile you keep working. You move a table on this side of the room, and it saves as you go.
0:49And at the same time, on her screen, Priya moves one on hers. You don't have to do anything about it.
0:55Her change comes to you, and it lands on your canvas — with your table exactly where you left it. Both sets of changes are kept.
1:04No reload. No version to choose between. No message telling you to start again and hope you remember what you had.
1:11If two of you move the exact same table in the same moment, yours wins and the app says so. Everything else merges quietly — which is what makes a plan a whole team shares actually workable.
