Import a Social Tables or Prismm PDF
Your old diagrams come back as editable, to-scale layouts — real tables you can move, not a picture behind a grid. Here's how the import works and what to check after.
1 · Export from the old tool first
In Social Tables or Prismm, export each diagram as a PDF (image exports work too). If you're leaving Prismm (no new events after October 1, 2026; access ends June 2027), export everything now even if you haven't decided where you're going — our export checklist walks the whole account.
2 · Import → pick the file
Click Import PDF/image in your workspace, choose the file, and pick (or create) the event it belongs to. The importer reads the drawing, recognizes tables, chairs, staging, and the room outline, works out the scale, and rebuilds the plan from real library items with real dimensions.
3 · Check two things
Scale: click any table and confirm its size reads right (a 60″ round should say 5′). If the whole room is uniformly off, the drawing's scale bar was unusual — drop a ruler on a known dimension and tell support; we'll true it up. Item identity: the importer occasionally reads a highboy as a cocktail table or similar — click, swap from the palette, done. Counts and seat totals recompute instantly.
Venues: we'll do it for you
On Venue plans, floor-plan conversion is concierge at onboarding — send us your PDFs and you get back your rooms, airwall sections included, verified to scale. During the Prismm migration window the conversion is free. See the migration program.
